Montessori Teachers' Workshop 

Akshara House of Children (The Yenepoya School), in association with MEIF, had organized a workshop for Montessori teachers in The Yenepoya School on 20 July 2024 which was inaugurated  by Yenepoya Abdulla Javeed,  Director &Trustee, Yenepoya group, presided by Moosabba P.Beary, President MEIF.

The training aimed to equip teachers with the knowledge and skills necessary to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment and foster strong relationship with their students. Ms. Shameena & Team, the skilled trainers of The Yenepoya School, provided training on effective classroom design, language efficiency, communication skills, building self-confidence, student development, and principles of scientific psychology.

At the culmination of the training, the competitive event was hosted to the trainees. The highest accolade was achieved by Ms.Mariyam from Amber Valley School, Kairangala. Meanwhile, Ms.Nazma of Anjuman School, Jokatte, secured the second prize. 

Ms. Mishriya Javid,  Director, Academics&Operations,The Yenepoya School&P.U.College conferred the honor to the winners and offered her congratulations and words of encouragement. Mr. Anthony Joseph, The Associate Director, Academics&Student Affairs of The Yenepoya School&PU College, helmed the program. 

The program secretary of MIEF, Mr. Mohammed Sharique& the Convenor Mr. Parvez Ali were present in the program. 142 teachers of 40 schools benefitted from this professional development initiative. Certificates were awarded to the teachers as a token of appreciation.
