The Yenepoya School was gleaming with its festive vibes as the students celebrated Diwali at the school campus. Diverse activities were organized for the students. Students from Montessori to grade 2 had a Diwali get-together. They were beautifully dressed in colourful dresses. The students showcased the spirit of Diwali through a skit and a dance performance. Children of grade 3 were engaged in exhibiting their hands at art by making exquisite Diwali Greeting Cards. 4th graders put up an amazing show with their creativity and made beautifully crafted lanterns. It was a wonderful sight to see the young minds of grades 5 and 6 present their best at decorating the ‘Diyas’ with love, warmth and integrity personifying that they are our ray of hope for a better tomorrow. 7th and 8th graders demonstrated their finesse at lantern making and left no stone unturned with their magical art that was no less than the retail displays. The whole school was bedecked with the students’ dexterity that was something to behold. It was a carnival full of light, life and love at TYS.
