The Yenepoya School and PU College inaugurated the school cabinet by ceremonializing the Investiture Ceremony on 19th August 2023 at Yendurance, Yenepoya Deemed to be University, Derelakatte.
Ms. Ridha hosted the event. The programme commenced by receiving the esteemed Chief Guest, Col. A.K. Jayachandran with the guard of honour led by Shayan Ibrahim. Principal, Mr. Uzwal Menezes, welcomed the august gathering. Ms. Rukiya Shaheema introduced our valued Chief guest and the audience was enthralled to learn about his achievements. Ms. Hiba Fathima delivered the importance of the day through her zealous speech. The cabinet members marched towards the stage to take their respective positions. Mr. Mohammed Adaan Hamad, Former Head Boy presented the college flag to the President, Mr. Mohammed Sahil S and former Head Girl, Ms Adithi Gatty, presented the school flag to the Head Boy and Head Girl, Raahil Ibrahim and Khadeeja Afrin. The cabinet members donned the mantle of leadership as they were presented the badges and sashes by the Chief guest and Principal. Mr. Purushothama K. Dean of Science, Mr. Melvin Felix, Dean of Commerce, Mr. Valentine Crasta, Student Welfare Officer - Science, Mrs Nidhi, Student Welfare Officer - Commerce and Mrs. Seema MK, Coordinator for Competitive Exams endowed badges and sashes to the PU Class representatives and the assistants. Head Girl, Ms. Khadeeja Afrin delivered the oath that was replicated by the other cabinet members. President - Mohammed Sahil S, Head Girl - Khadeeja Afrin and Head Boy - Raahil Ibrahim, through their speeches, expressed their gratitude and willingness to fulfill their duties to the best of their abilities.
Cheif Guest, Col. A.K. Jayachandran in his key note address emphasized that discipline is the primary quality a leader must possess to be able to guide others on the right path. He also stressed that with position, comes responsibility. Ms. Yusra Moideen proposed the vote of thanks and the musical rendition of the National Anthem marked the culmination of the grand event.
JUNIOR CABINET - INVESTITURE CEREMONY
The Yenepoya School organised Investiture Ceremony of school's Junior Cabinet for the academic year 2023-24 on Wednesday, 30th August, 2023. The elected members were conferred sashes by the Chief Guest after which the Head Boy along with the elected members took the Oath. The Chief Guest in his speech congratulated the newly appointed School Cabinet Members. It was a great moment.
