The Yenepoya School monumentalized Kargil Vijay Diwas on 26th July, 2023, at the school campus with great ardour and nationalism. The school was honored with the presence of Mr. K. C. Narayanan as the esteemed Chief Guest. Principal, Mr. Uzwal Menezes, Vice-Principal, Mr. Padmanabhan, Campus coordinator, Mrs. Euvet Pereira, were present for the event. The programme began by venerating The Almighty and invoking his blessings with a prayer that was followed by the school anthem. Students put up a brilliant show by presenting a dance drama and addressing the audience with the importance of the day. Mr. K.C. Narayanan, in his keynote address, emphasized that though we lost our brave-hearts in the combat, we still refer to the event as Vijay Diwas as it marked the victory of our conquering heroes. Principal, Mr. Uzwal Menezes, highlighted the untiring selfless services of the soldiers. The event culminated with the vote of thanks followed by recitation of the National Anthem.
