To honor the brave heroes in uniform,The Yenepoya School organized a special assembly on 26July2024, The Kargil Vijay Diwas. The assembly commenced with a reverent invocation, which was followed by the school Anthem. With gracious finesse, the gathered assembly was welcomed by The Associate Director, Mr. Anthony Joseph. The esteemed chief guest G P Captain Sudhir G. Amin was introduced and welcomed with the sapling.
In his address, Captain Sudhir emphasized the need for resilience and determination. He also pointed out that war teaches us profound and lasting lessons. He concluded the speech by remembering all the MahaveeraChakra awardees.
The students of class 9 performed a dancedrama depicting the struggles and the triumph of the soldiers. Which was followed by a soulful song. A group dance performance showcased the students' emotional expression, leaving the audience moved.
The Headmaster, Mr. Melvin Paul proposed the vote of thanks, and the tributary program concluded with the National Anthem.
