The Government of Karnataka has organized ‘Koti Kanta Gayana’ event to commemorate the 67th Karnataka Rajyotsava. The Yenepoya School and PU College celebrated the 'Koti Kanta Gayana Programme' on Friday, 28th October, 2022 at the school campus. The occasion commenced with a prayer which was followed by Nada Geethe. Mr. Niketh Shetty, Department of Kannada, YPUC, was the host for the programme. Master Mohammed Suaid conveyed the thought for the day. The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Niketh Shetty. Principal, Mr. Uzwal Menezes, expressed the importance of Kannada language and urged the students to enforce it as a medium of communication regularly. Master Vrashab read out the Oath of Loyalty towards the state. Students and teachers displayed fine renditions of Kannada devoted songs. Mrs. Meera Ranjan proposed the vote of thanks. The event created a sense of pride in the minds of the students, for being a part of an ethnicity that is so vibrant.
