Akshara House of Children and The Yenepoya School celebrated sports day for the little munchkins of NEP 1 on Saturday, 3rd December, 2022 at the School Ground. Our vibrant students of grades 1 and 2 showcased a well synchronized march-past that was coupled with some stirring music. Our friendly flock of Montessori greeted the audience with their Welcome Run. Principal, Mr. Uzwal Menezes welcomed the gathering. The Sports Meet was declared open by releasing the air balloons. Campus Director, Mrs. Mishria Javeed wished the students with her encouraging words. Children of TYS left the crowd speechless with various mesmerizing displays. The most looked-for experience was our mini miracles forming a splendid outline of TYS. There were several recreational activities for students of Montessori. Finally the students of grades 1 and 2 were set on track for the most exciting event, the 50 mtrs dash. It was an absolute delight to watch the little feet battle. Medals and certificates were distributed to the winners. The final flourish to make the event a memorable one were the races for ‘Mommys’ and ‘Daddys’ of TYS family. It was wonderful to witness the sportsmanship displayed by them. The program culminated with the vote of thanks. Thus, TYS experienced another successful event adding one more feather to the cap!
