The Yenepoya School & PU College celebrated Onam with great fervor and enthusiasm on Monday, 28th August in the school campus. Students and teachers were dressed in the traditional Onam Attire. It was a treat to watch our tiny tots of Akshara House of Children, TYS Preschool, in the traditional attire. The programme began with an assembly by students of grades 1 and 2 that comprised of speeches, dance and a beautiful skit enacted by our beloved ones. The best part of the assembly was a well-synchronized dance presented by our academic magicians.
Flower Carpet (Pookalam) competition was conducted for students from grades 1 to 12. An intricately designed Pookalam was spread out for the audience. Altogether, the day was thoroughly enjoyed by all!
