As a part of EVS curriculum, the students of Grade 4 were asked to prepare a model of Polar Habitat.
The main objective of the activity was to understand the climatic conditions in the polar regions also about the adaptation of the plants and animals.
Through this activity, students learn that the polar region is very cold and remains covered with ice for most part of the year, frozen and dark in winters. Animals like Polar Bears, Huskies and Penguins survive in these regions. And plants like Lichen and Moss are found.
Through this, the students got a clear picture of the Polar Regions.
