The recipient of Dakshina Kannnada District Rajostava Award, Mohammed Shamil Arshad of Grade 8A, has participated in the 36th State Level Skating Championship at Mysore, organized by the Karnataka Roller Skating Association.
In the category 11 to 14 years, Mohammed Shamil Arshad has bagged Gold Medals and won the Individual Championship in 500 Meters Rink Race, 1 Clap Road Race and 3000 Meters Road Race.
He has been selected for the National Level Skating Competition which is going to be held at Mohali in Punjab from the 31st of March to the 11th of April.
