The Yenepoya School celebrated Teachers’ Day with great pomp and manifestation for the beloved academic soldiers. The program marked the presence of the Campus Director, Mrs. Mishriya Javeed, Principal, Mr. Uzwal Menezes, faculty members and students.
Students from Montessori to Grade 11 participated in various surprise activities for their teachers. An assembly was held in the morning for the students in the school auditorium that was followed by a series of events. As a mark of reverence, a floral garland was offered on the portrait of Dr. Sarvapelli Radhakrishnan, who celebrates his birthday on 5th September marking it as Teachers’ Day in India. Students spoke about the importance of the day.
A Talent Show, ‘Way to the Stage’ was conducted by the organizing committee where students from Montessori to grade 2 majestically demonstrated different skills. The toddlers danced, sang songs, recited poems and made cards. Some dressed themselves as public figures and beautifully grandstanded themselves. Students from grades 3 to 11 displayed some breathtaking performances. The teachers were in adoration and admiration of their students. The students pulled out all the stops to make their event as entertaining as possible.
The Management of The Yenepoya School expressed gratitude to its staff by organizing a special lunch for them.
It was a great day for all.
