YENchanted - Let the Magic Begin!

They say ‘The best way to pay for a lovely moment is to enjoy it.’

The Yenepoya School and Akshara House of Children celebrated the Annual Day, Yenchanted – Let the magic begin, for students of Montessori and grades 1 and 2 on Saturday, 25th February 2023 at the school campus. The school was honoured to have Mr.  Ryan Lobo, Country HR Lead, EGDK India Pvt. Ltd as the chief guest.  Master Ata-Ur-Rahman and Miss Ayesha Mehreen of grade 2 were the hosts for the evening. The event started with an invocation followed by the school anthem. Principal, Mr. Uzwal Menezes welcomed the chief guest, dignitaries and the gathering. The annual report of the school projected on the screen was the highlight of the occasion. It displayed the activities and achievements that occurred throughout the year. Chief Guest, Mr. Ryan Lobo, with his zealous speech, took the gala to the next level. Mrs. Mishria Javeed, Director of Operations and Academics, delivered the Presidential address. Master Aarush Sai Kotian of grade 2 presented the vote of thanks and with that arrived the most exciting part of the evening, the enchanting performances.

Little munchkins of Montessori 1 treated the crowd with a startling welcome dance. Everybody was left asking for more. Kids displayed some mesmerizing performances.
Students of Montessori 2 staged an outstanding presentation that was a magical blend of dance and drama. The audience was spellbound with the dialogue delivery of our tiny tots of Montessori 2. The conviction in which they enacted the scenes was so absorbing. It is rightfully quoted, ‘Think of the magic of that foot, comparatively small, upon which your whole weight rests. It’s a miracle, and the dance is a celebration of that miracle.’ Children of Montessori 3 entertained the audience with a cartoon mash-up dance.

Students of grades 1 and 2 elevated the program’s charm tenfold by exhibiting a ‘couldn’t stare away’ act that was so systematically executed.

The event culminated by playing National Anthem.
